Hi, I’m Bull Sanchez, the creative force behind The Branding Bull — a small business built on craftsmanship, family, and the joy of creating something truly personal.

I’ve always been a creative at heart. My journey began long before laser engraving entered the picture — back when I first picked up a classical guitar in junior high. From there, creativity became my language. I became a singer/songwriter in Austin, TX, performed in theatre during college, and later earned my MFA in Film Production from Chapman University.

After a few years working in Los Angeles, I returned home to the Rio Grande Valley, where I built a career as a freelance editor, cinematographer, and lighting technician for local advertising and marketing companies. I also spent a year teaching TV Production and Editing at UTRGV, an experience that reminded me how much I love sharing creativity with others.

During that time, I met my amazing wife, Erin, and together we started our greatest adventure yet — raising our son, Sebastian. When the pandemic hit, freelance work came to a standstill and my teaching position wasn’t renewed. With a young family depending on me, I stepped into a new role as a videographer and multimedia journalist with Mission CISD, where I continue to tell stories through video and design.

But creation has always been my calling. Alongside my work, I rediscovered my passion for making — first through flamenco guitar, and then through the world of laser engraving. I was instantly fascinated by how something as simple as light and precision could transform everyday items into meaningful, lasting art.

That spark became The Branding Bull — a family-centered laser engraving studio dedicated to bringing creativity, quality, and heart to every piece we craft. Whether it’s a personalized tumbler, a wedding keepsake, or a custom gift for someone special, each creation is made with the same care and attention that’s guided my entire creative journey.

Because here, it’s not just about the engraving — it’s about the story it tells.
